Donors Can Double their Contribution through this exclusive Matching Gift Challenge
For the second year, FIE partners with The John and Ethel Kashulon Foundation, who will match all online gifts to Foundations in Education (FIE) during the week of Giving Tuesday, November 27 through December 3. This marks our second opportunity to promote fully this Giving Tuesday matching gift challenge, which aims to inspire individuals and organizations to make a lasting impact on the lives of students by doubling their donation.
Foundations in Education strives to transform lives through education by providing resources and support to schools, educators, and students in need. We are exceedingly grateful to the John and Ethel Kashulon Foundation for valuing our mission for investing in the future of our students in particular.
The John and Ethel Kashulon Foundation was funded through the estate of Ethel Kashulon. Ethel and her husband John were longtime residents of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Upon Ethel’s passing, the Foundation was formed. The Foundation’s mission is to improve people’s lives in a variety of ways, including funding programs that enhance education, benefit children and promote cultural opportunities. Ultimately, it is about giving those most in need a helping hand, especially in the greater Bridgeport area and Fairfield County.
Through the generosity of donors, FIE has funded tuition assistance, innovative programs, and professional development opportunities to reach their full potential and helps educators to have a long-term impact on student learning and empower students. Donations to FIE made between Monday, November 27 – Sunday, December 3rd will effectively double the impact of each contribution. The goal of this initiative is to raise $20,000 in funds, which will be matched dollar for dollar and directly benefit students from demonstrating need. Thus ensuring they have access to quality education and the tools they need to succeed in life.
By participating in this challenge, donors have the opportunity to amplify the impact of contributions and directly contribute to the betterment of education in our communities. Every gift matters and will help shape the lives of students in need.
