Foundations in Education (FIE)’s annual Gala will be held at Woodway Country Club in Darien, Connecticut on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Proceeds from the Gala benefit Foundations in Education in their mission to support tuition assistance for low-income children and grants for innovation in the classroom.
FIE is pleased to announce our 2024 honorees Corporation M&T Bank, represented by the Bridgeport Regional President Frank Micalizzi and FIE and Diocese of Bridgeport philanthropist, Michael Shea. We are excited to share our co-chairs for the 2024 Gala are Jennifer St. Victor-de Pinho and Allison Reiling.
They are joined on the Gala committee with Maribel Holmes of Ridgefield, Barbara Ripp of Greenwich, Lisa Ferraro Martino of New Canaan, Michele Mitola and Jody Myers of Fairfield. The 2024 Gala will see the return of famed auctioneer Bobby D of Inspire Hearts Fundraising, who helped FIE with a lively auction and raise the paddle. Proceeds will support the mission of FIE, including tuition assistance through the Bishop’s Scholarship Fund as well as Innovation and Leadership Grants for teachers and administrators.
Foundations in Education’s mission is to strengthen and transform the mission of Catholic education in the Diocese of Bridgeport by providing tuition assistance to families in need and supporting innovation in academic programs and fostering opportunities for the professional development of school leaders. All gala proceeds support tuition assistance in our schools.
