Foundations in Education Meets Giving Tuesday Matching Gift Challenge

The John and Ethel Kashulon Foundation joined with Foundations in Education for the third year to pose a Matching Gift Challenge for Giving Tuesday. The Kashulon Board agreed to match all online donations to FIE received from November 25 – December 8 up to $20,000. FIE sought to significantly increase awareness of the challenge and funds raised by reaching this goal.
Thanks to the generous donors participating in Giving Tuesday, FIE succeeded in meeting the challenge for the third consecutive year. More than $26,000 was raised, exceeding the match by more than $6,000. With the help of gracious donors and the John and Ethel Kashulon Foundation, this year’s Giving Tuesday effort yielded a total of $46,255!
