Foundations in Education Gala set for April 25

BRIDGEPORT- Foundations in Education’s annual Gala will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Woodway Country Club in Darien, Connecticut. Proceeds from the Gala benefit Foundations in Education in their mission to provide tuition assistance for low-income families and innovation and leadership grants for teachers.
The evening’s program will begin by honoring philanthropist volunteer Michael Shea and corporate partner and friends, M&T Bank, represented by Frank Micalizzi. The program will feature an auction and raise your paddle for support of Foundations in Education’s tuition assistance and innovation grants. The evening will also provide a chance to win five unique and exciting experiences for which the bidder must be present to bid:
Choose Your Broadway Adventure: Set your sights on Broadway. This adventure includes two orchestra seats to a Broadway performance in 2024. Tickets must be requested one month in advance.
Mass and Brunch with Bishop Frank Caggiano: Enjoy this priceless experience with you and 15 guests joining Bishop Frank for 10am Mass at St. Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport followed by brunch at the Bishop’s Trumbull residence. Select dates available.
Ahoy Captain Bob: What could be better than cruising Long Island Sound with 12 of your friends and host Bob Scinto aboard the magnificent “Whatever it Takes!” You will disembark in Port Jefferson for a lovely dinner, topping the evening off with ice cream, enjoying the sunset on your return trip! Available Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, 3:30-7:45pm.
