Foundations in Education connects people who believe in educational opportunity with students ready to use it. We verify each family's need, direct scholarship funds to the school, and show donors what their investment makes possible.
Since 2015, we've been Connecticut's largest scholarship-granting organization — turning generosity into open doors for students in Catholic schools across Fairfield County.
How Your Gift Is Invested.
Independent governance
An independent board approves policy, reviews performance, and protects donor intent.
Verified need
Each family's financial need is assessed through a consistent third-party process before an award is made.
Direct payment
Scholarship funds are issued directly to the school and credited to the student's tuition account.
Annual audit and reporting
Financial statements are independently audited and published each year.
Exceptional means more than strong test scores.
Catholic schools educate the whole person. Students encounter rigorous academics, clear expectations, moral formation, faith, and a community that knows them by name. The academic evidence matters too. Diocesan high schools report a 100% graduation rate, and 98% of graduates continue to college or military service. Nationally, Catholic-school students posted higher average 2024 NAEP scores than public-school students in Grade 4 and Grade 8 reading and mathematics.
